Our Minimalist Canicross & Joring Belt is a rugged and lightweight modular option for running canicross, skijoring, hiking, or just hands free dog walking around the neighborhood.

Taking design cues from waist belts on alpine trekking/mountaineering packs and climbing gear, our belt is made from high quality outdoor materials, is lightly padded, and has a user changeable connection option to meet the needs of sanctioned canicross & skijoring races, as well as personal preferences.

The buckle is separated from the pulling connection to avoid twisting or loosening by your dogs pulling force. The 2" buckle is dual side adjustable and offers strong staying power with quick adjustments between users or from a change of clothing.

We offer custom color options for the back fabric panel and reflective webbing as well as a choice of attachment style. (Does not include a joring line, the attachment lines will be of similar color to your webbing color choice by default. If you would like a different color please leave a note on your order to specify between Black, Blue, Red, Silver, or Orange)

The belt should be worn lower on the hips to direct the pulling force of your dog(s) down and forward. This keeps the belt from directing the pulling pressure onto your lower spine and reduces the workload on your stomach muscles to stay balanced against the pulling pressure.

Attachment Choice -
- Dual line attachment (shown in pictures) provides a strong centered connection point and can be used with a quick release, a carabiner, or a line with a snap connection.
- Load balancer attachment offers a floating attachment ring on a single line that reduces a rotational force on your belt if your dog pulls off center to the sides.
- We also offer a "not included" option if you would like to provide your own lines or shock absorber device that you currently have on hand.
