 MADE IN USA American Flag

The Ultralight Minimalist Pocket Leashes are hand spliced Dyneema© leash. This type of braided line was originally created to use in place of wire rope rigging in racing sailboats and other functions where high strength, durability, abrasion/cut resistance, and light weight properties are important. Due to the nature of this line, it is resistant to being chewed or cut, and also performs very well in harsh conditions in the outdoors.

This leash comes with a No. 1 Swedish Snap to connect to your dogs collar or harness. When fully wrapped up this leash can fit in the palm of your hand and stashes easily in a pants, jacket, or pack pocket. Since this leash is made of the same braided line as our tug lines, this leash can also be used if needed as a short joring line for skijoring & bikejoring, or even as an emergency tug line or snow claw brake tie out on a dog sled gang line.

Note - Since this leash does not have padding and is a smaller diameter, it is recommended to wear a glove while using it if you tend to hitch the leash around your wrist. It is recommended to hold the handle loop in your hand to avoid the line putting sharp pressure on your skin.

Care Guide

If you do need to cut one of these lines, it is easiest to do so while under tension using a sharp knife or scissors.

Rinse with room temperature water, then air dry. Scrubbing or wringing with mud&salt in the fibers can cause abrasions which can damage and weaken the material.
